Boston & Northern Street Railway Company is formed.

(July) The result of a consolidation of 15 street railway companies by the Lynn & Boston Railroad, it connects Boston to the Merrimac Valley and Cape Ann. It absorbs the Boston & Northern in July 1911, is soon after renamed the Bay State Street Railway Company, and becomes the Eastern Street Railway Company in 1919.
